Soccer Recap: Copper Hills' Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Copper Hills fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Spanish Fork on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Dons by a score of 4-3. The loss put an end to Copper Hills' undefeated start to the season.

Josephine Cannon and Madi Hammon scored all three of Copper Hills' goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Copper Hills fell to 2-1. As for Spanish Fork, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copper Hills will host Uintah at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Uintah's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Spanish Fork, they will welcome Orem at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
