Baseball Recap: South Stokes Comes Up Short

South Stokes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Providence Grove Patriots.

South Stokes' defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Providence Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Looking ahead, South Stokes will be playing in front of their home fans against Starmount at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Sauras surely won't give up without a fight. As for Providence Grove, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Trinity on the 4th.
