Volleyball Game Preview: Heritage Christian Eagles vs. Abilene Christian Panthers

The Heritage Christian Eagles will challenge the Abilene Christian Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

Heritage Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Calvary Academy with a sharp 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Heritage Christian took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-8, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Abilene Christian made easy work of Lakehill Prep on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Abilene Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-22.

Heritage Christian's win bumped their record up to 26-5. As for Abilene Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 24-15.

Heritage Christian beat Abilene Christian 2-0 in their previous matchup back in August of 2021. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
