Volleyball Game Preview: Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans vs. Golden Demons

The Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans will venture away from home to challenge the Golden Demons at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Fountain-Fort Carson is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Pueblo West just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Cyclones.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Golden had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Tigers.

Golden wouldn't go down easily and took Lakewood into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 22-25, 20-25, 15-9.

Golden's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
