Volleyball Recap: Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Northern Durham Knights, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Northern Durham, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8.

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability and Northern Durham could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Spartans (ranked 504th) will meet Riverside-Durham (ranked 231st) at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northern Durham will face off against East Chapel Hill at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (332 vs. 96).
