Volleyball Recap: Morristown Takes a Loss

Morristown lost against Eastern Hancock back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets lost 3-0 to the Royals. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-7, 25-16.

Brooklyn Carlton paced Morristown's offense, picking up seven kills. Carlton got some help from Nadia Rude and her eight assists. Finally, Avery Everhart kept Morristown's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Morristown's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Eastern Hancock, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 25-7.

Morristown has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Southwestern on the 11th. As for Eastern Hancock, they will face off against Triton Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
