Marion proved they can win big  on Monday (they won by ten) and  on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a  run and slipped past the Buford Yellow Jackets  12-11. The  win continues a trend for the Swamp Foxes in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won three in a row.
 Kynnedi Jenkins made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and ten unearned) runs off   11  hits. Jenkins was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-5 with two  runs.
 In other batting news, Marion got a  massive  performance out of  Maliyah Williams, who  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Williams is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged two or more in each of the last four games she's  played.  Sheteira Bethea was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Marion  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 17  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in three consecutive  matches.
Marion's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Buford,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 21-3.
As of now, neither Marion nor the Yellow Jackets have any future games scheduled.
