Baseball Recap: Sandusky Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Sandusky hadn't done well against Columbian recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Blue Streaks came out on top against the Tornadoes by a score of 8-4. This was a revenge game for the Blue Streaks: when they faced off against the Tornadoes back in April, they had to take a 7-2 defeat.

Sandusky's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Columbian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Sandusky does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbian, they will take on Shelby at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
