Basketball Recap: Mooresville Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

West Cabarrus came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Mooresville, but Lilly Rumrill wouldn't allow it. The Mooresville Blue Devils skirted past the West Cabarrus Wolverines 53-50 thanks in part to Rumrill, who posted 23 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Mooresville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for West Cabarrus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mooresville will take on A.L. Brown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Cabarrus, they will challenge Hickory Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
