Softball Recap: Norris Titans vs. Standing Bear Grizzlies
There's no place like home for Norris, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Standing Bear Grizzlies on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-4 victory. The Titans not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 6th (when they won 8-0).
Norris got a great performance from Embrie Bednar as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Myra Carlow, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Macke, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.
Norris always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. The last time their OBP was this high was September 6th.
