Lick-Wilmerding fell victim to St. Helena and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Saints, falling 8-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Making Waves Academy sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Calistoga on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Marlins have posted against the Wildcats since February 28, 2020.

Making Waves Academy's win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gustavo Rosas, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3. Rosas has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times he's played.

Making Waves Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lick-Wilmerding, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
