Softball Recap: Capistrano Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Capistrano Valley Christian is still winless after their match against Crean Lutheran on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crean Lutheran Saints. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since February 27, 2024.

Capistrano Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Crean Lutheran, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for Crean Lutheran, they will host Corona del Mar at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
