Soccer Game Preview: Buckeye vs. Kellis

The Buckeye Hawks will take on the Kellis Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Buckeye and four for Kellis.

Buckeye fell victim to Kofa and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Kings, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Kings are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Kellis took on Willow Canyon on Tuesday. Kellis lost 7-2 to Willow Canyon.

Buckeye's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Kellis, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
