Volleyball Recap: Wheeler Makes It Five in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Wheeler, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Nettleton Tigers 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Wheeler got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-13, 17-25, 15-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wheeler to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marlee Hutcheson, who had nine digs and nine assists.

Wheeler pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Nettleton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Wheeler will challenge Potts Camp at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nettleton, they will square off against Mantachie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
