Basketball Game Preview: Lewiston Blue Devils vs. Edward Little Red Eddies

The Lewiston Blue Devils are taking a road trip to challenge the Edward Little Red Eddies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Tuesday, Lewiston was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to Cheverus. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Stags: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Edward Little unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 66-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Scarborough.

Lewiston now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Edward Little, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Lewiston skirted past Edward Little 48-45 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lewiston since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
