Basketball Game Recap: Maxwell vs. Wallace

The Maxwell Wildcats won the last time they met up with the Wallace Wildcats, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Maxwell beat Wallace 49-39 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for Maxwell, who now has three in a row.

The win bumped Maxwell's record up to 12-7. The defeat dropped Wallace's record to 6-10.

Maxwell has the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Sutherland on Tuesday. Unlike Maxwell, Sutherland will be stumbling in off of a loss. Wallace will be playing at home against Southwest on Tuesday. Wallace is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
