Basketball Recap: Make It Nine in a Row for Paradise Honors

Paradise Honors extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Morgan Van Dyke. The Paradise Honors Panthers breezed by the Moon Valley Rockets to the tune of 52-15 on Thursday thanks in part to Van Dyke, who went 8 for 12 en route to 17 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Van Dyke is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Chloe Hughens was another key player, putting up six points and five boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Moon Valley saw an underclassman step up: freshman Aniston Pattershall posted eight points and five boards.

Paradise Honors pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Moon Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Paradise Honors has already played their next contest, a 54-18 victory against Thunderbird on the 31st. As for Moon Valley, they are taking a road trip to face off against Greenway at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
