Volleyball Recap: Madison Academy Mustangs vs. St. John Paul II Falcons

Madison Academy lost against St. John Paul II back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2.

Madison Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-23, 21-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Janelle Lowery paced Madison Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lowery got some help from Sarah Bacon and her 36 assists. Isabelle Sutton and Maggie Boyd kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Bella Grant was a one-woman wrecking crew For St. John Paul II. as she had 28 digs and five assists. Those 28 digs gave Grant a new career-high.
