Basketball Game Preview: Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades vs. Bridger/Belfry

The Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades will take on Bridger/Belfry at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Reed Point/Rapelje is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Reed Point/Rapelje lost 56-35 to Custer/Hysham on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Renegades can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while Custer/Hysham are ranked 34th).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Charile Hertweck, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Chevelle Ulmer, who earned ten points.

Meanwhile, Bridger/Belfry didn't have too much trouble with Reed Point/Rapelje last Thursday as they won 53-34.

Bridger/Belfry's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Reed Point/Rapelje, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Reed Point/Rapelje ended up a good deal behind Bridger/Belfry in their previous meeting last Thursday, losing 53-34. Can Reed Point/Rapelje avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
