Football Game Preview: Cypress Ranch Mustangs vs. Langham Creek Lobos + How To Watch

Cypress Ranch is 8-2 against Langham Creek since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lobos at 1:00 p.m. Cypress Ranch will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Braden Baker had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 227 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 31 yards. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Peyton Thomas, who rushed for 117 yards.

Cypress Ranch didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dorian Rogers and David Crosby. Rogers also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Cypress Ranch, racking up 11 points in total. All those points came courtesy of Nathaniel Carrier: he added nine points with three field goals and another two kicking extra points.

Despite a strong season so far, Langham Creek has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 33-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cypress Lakes on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Lobos have lost by exactly ten points.

Langham Creek's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Cypress Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Cypress Ranch skirted past Langham Creek 17-14 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Lobos' Brett Dowty, who rushed for 97 yards and one TD, and also threw for 189 yards on ten of 19 attempts.
