Volleyball Recap: John Yowell Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for John Yowell Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals on Monday.

The win didn't come easy: Triad Math and Science Academy scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25, 23-25, 25-20.

John Yowell Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Triad Math and Science Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

John Yowell Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Tri-City Christian on the 26th. As for Triad Math and Science Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Central Davidson on the 26th.
