Volleyball Recap: Newark Memorial Gets the Win

If Kennedy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Newark Memorial, they should've done a better job of containing Camille Walker. The Cougars came out on top against the Titans by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Walker, who had 21 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Newark Memorial had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-17, 25-22, 25-15.

Newark Memorial's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Kennedy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-25.

As of now, neither Newark Memorial nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
