Softball Recap: Sterling Golden Warriors vs. Moline Maroons
Sterling won against Moline on Friday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Sterling Golden Warriors skirted past the Moline Maroons 8-6. The win was nothing new for Sterling as they're now sitting on four straight.
Sienna Stingley made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits. Stingley has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 13 consecutive pitching appearances. Stingley was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI.
