Soccer Game Preview: Mason vs. Sycamore

The Mason Comets will square off against the Sycamore Aviators at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Sycamore will be up against a hot Mason squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Comets' defense stepped up to hand Hamilton a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Mason, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Sycamore hasn't lost a match since September 13th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They blew past Fairfield 4-1.

Sycamore hit the Indians with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Graham Perrine, Colin Kmet, Danny Arrigain-Golubic, and Noah Dryer.

Sycamore's win bumped their record up to 10-4-1. As for Mason, their victory bumped their record up to 13-0-2.

Mason beat Sycamore by a goal in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-2. Do the Comets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Aviators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
