Baseball Recap: Pewaukee Comes Up Short

Pewaukee suffered their closest defeat since May 22, 2025 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings by a score of 10-8. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 7-3 to the Vikings when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pewaukee's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Wisconsin Lutheran will square off against Homestead at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pewaukee will be paying especially close attention to the Vikings' matchup: after the Vikings face off against the Highlanders, they'll take on Pewaukee again at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
