Softball Recap: New Dorp Central Cougars vs. Wagner Falcons
Friday just wasn't the day for New Dorp's offense. They lost 19-0 to the Wagner Falcons on Friday. That's two games in a row now that New Dorp has lost by exactly 19 runs.
For Wagner's part, they got a massive performance out of ALLISON DEMONTREUX, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of MIKAYLA DANSKY, who scored four runs while going 4-for-4.
This is the second loss in a row for New Dorp and nudges their season record down to 2-10. As for Wagner, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.
New Dorp will head out on the road to square off against Port Richmond at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wagner does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
