Soccer Recap: Killeen Takes a Loss

Killeen lost against Midway back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Killeen Kangaroos lost 8-0 to the Midway Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Kangaroos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 645th, while the Panthers are ranked 221st).

This is the second loss in a row for Killeen and nudges their season record down to 3-15. As for Midway, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Killeen and Midway will both be playing Bryan the next time they take the pitch. Midway will host Bryan at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Killeen will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on March 7th.
