Canyon View is 9-1 against Emery since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Falcons will face off against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Canyon View sitting on three straight victories and Emery on four.
Canyon View is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Everything went their way against North Sanpete as they made off with a 16-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Zach Maine was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Chandler McClellan was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Asher Slack, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.
Canyon View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Emery got the win against Morgan on Monday by a conclusive 10-3.
Like Canyon View, Emery also got a great game from a two-way player: Hayden Abrams. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. Abrams was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyton Nielson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.
Canyon View's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Emery, their win bumped their record up to 11-17.
Emery's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Canyon View has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .470. It's a different story for Emery, though, as they've only averaged .352. Will they be able to contain Canyon View's hitters?
