Softball Game Preview: Mount Greylock Regional Mounties vs. Wahconah Regional Warriors

Mount Greylock Regional is 2-8 against Wahconah Regional since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Mounties will head out to take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Mount Greylock Regional has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mount Greylock Regional came up short against Greenfield on Monday, falling 14-1.

Mount Greylock Regional saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaleigh Jaros, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run. Kelsey MacHaffie also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Wahconah Regional got the win against Frontier Regional on Monday by a conclusive 13-1.

The victory got Wahconah Regional back to even at 2-2. As for Mount Greylock Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Mount Greylock Regional suffered a grim 17-6 defeat to Wahconah Regional in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Mounties avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
