Volleyball Recap: Horton Comes Up Short

Horton lost against Jefferson West back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chargers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16.

Jefferson West found their leader in sophomore Macy Malone, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Horton's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Jefferson West, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Horton has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] on the 9th. As for Jefferson West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Santa Fe Trail on the 6th.
