Baseball Game Preview: R.J. Reynolds Demons vs. Western Guilford Hornets

The R.J. Reynolds Demons will head out on the road to face off against the Western Guilford Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Guilford took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on R.J. Reynolds, who comes in off a win.

R.J. Reynolds is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since April 15, 2024 on Thursday. Everything went their way against T.W. Andrews as R.J. Reynolds made off with a 14-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Demons.

Porter Lassiter was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Lassiter was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
