The Taylor Ducks waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 64-60 W over Manor New Tech. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Taylor's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Treos Richardson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Richardson hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was TJ Whybrew, who scored 21 points along with three steals.

Taylor pushed their record up to 9-15 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. La Grange has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 346 points over their last five contests. As for Manor New Tech, they will head out on the road to square off against Smithville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Smithville has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5.
