Basketball Recap: Nathan Jackson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead John Carroll Catholic over Jensen Beach

John Carroll Catholic lost against Jensen Beach back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The John Carroll Catholic Rams took a 44-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jensen Beach Falcons.

John Carroll Catholic lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nathan Jackson, who posted six points. Another player making a difference was Micah Coleman, who had four points.

Jensen Beach's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Vari Newson, who went 6 of 9 en route to 15 points and five assists. Charlie Alexander was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 12 points.

John Carroll Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Jensen Beach, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

John Carroll Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-47 defeat against King's Academy on the 23rd. Jensen Beach has also already played their next match, a 51-37 win against Sebastian River on the 24th.
