Football Recap: Keystone Wildcats vs. Crestview Cougars

While it was Keystone who put the first points on the board on Friday, it was Crestview who put up more. The Wildcats took a 28-14 bruising from the Cougars. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Although Keystone took the loss, they still got scores from Zach Taylor and Shane Ohl.

Ayden Reymer was nothing short of spectacular for Crestview: he rushed for 147 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. What's more, Reymer posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Keystone and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Crestview, they pushed their record up to 1-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
