Woodbridge had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Viewmont on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitcher stepped up to hand the Vikings a 9-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

The result came thanks to Dylan Mutuc's shutout, as he gave up just six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Nolan Stottlemyer was a standout: he scored a run while going 3-for-4. Vaughn Tase also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Woodbridge's record now sits at 13-5. As for Viewmont, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodbridge will welcome Irvine at 3:30 p.m. on the 9th. As for Viewmont, they will host Cottonwood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
