Basketball Game Preview: Spanish Fork Dons vs. Cedar Valley Aviators

The Spanish Fork Dons will challenge the Cedar Valley Aviators at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Spanish Fork is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Wasatch on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Spanish Fork lost 52-28 to Wasatch. While losing is never fun, the Dons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Wasps are ranked 12th).

Meanwhile, Cedar Valley beat Clearfield 38-31 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aviators.

Spanish Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Cedar Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Spanish Fork was able to grind out a solid win over Cedar Valley in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 42-31. Does Spanish Fork have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cedar Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
