Volleyball Recap: Hershey Takes a Loss

Hershey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Northern York Polar Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Polar Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Hershey was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-18.

Tyler Allen was nothing short of spectacular for Northern York: he had 29 assists and four digs. Allen is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 20 every time he's taken the court this season.

Hershey's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Northern York, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Looking ahead, Hershey will square off against Lower Dauphin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northern York, they will take on Red Land at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Polar Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
