Kaston Vega Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Kaston Vega's big game helped extend Stamford's winning streak to six on Friday. Vega showed up in a big way, rushing for 109 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.2 rushing touchdowns per game. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making 17 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Cisco, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Vega. Vega rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries the last time he and the Loboes duked it out back in October of 2023.

On Friday, Hawley got the W thanks in part to Allyn Barker playing the best football he has all season. Barker rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles.
The victory for Hawley keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Barker and Hawley will welcome Olney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Olney Gets a Boost from Mccomack in 35-6 Victory
Camron Mccomack's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 123+ rushing yards. He rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
For the season, Mccomack has averaged 60.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 119 rushing yards.
