Intrinsic is a perfect 5-0 against Schurz since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Mustangs will host the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Intrinsic is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Intrinsic played against Kelvyn Park on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Schurz and Foreman have met, but the home crowd finally got their W two weeks ago. The Bulldogs blew past the Hornets 16-7. Considering the Bulldogs have won three games by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Schurz saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mitchell Quiles, who got on base in five of his two plate appearances with one home run, one triple, and two RBI.

Quiles wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Schurz lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Schurz now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Intrinsic, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Everything went Intrinsic's way against Schurz in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Intrinsic made off with a 10-0 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
