Basketball Recap: Pe Ell Falls Short of Oakesdale in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pe Ell can now relate to. They took a hard 52-38 fall against the Oakesdale Nighthawks on Wednesday. It was the first time this season that the Trojans let down their fans at home.

Despite the loss, Pe Ell still got an impressive performance from Peyton Zock, who posted eight points in addition to 11 rebounds and three blocks. Zock has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more boards the last three times she's played. Brookelynn King was another key player, putting up six points.

This is the second loss in a row for Pe Ell and nudges their season record down to 21-2. As for Oakesdale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Pe Ell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakesdale, they have already played their next matchup, a 51-36 loss against Neah Bay on the 6th.
