It was a good run, but Minneola unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Gray Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Leading South Gray to victory were Keagan Mel Eesa Showalter and Jonalee Zweygardt. Mel Eesa Showalter had seven aces and four digs, while Zweygardt had 17 assists and three aces. Zweygardt is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season. Brenna Kinnamon also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Minneola's loss dropped their record down to 6-23. As for South Gray, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-3 record this season.

Minneola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Spearville on the 14th. As for South Gray, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Rolla on the 14th.
