Softball Recap: Wagner Takes a Loss

Wagner lost against Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Red Raiders lost 15-4 to Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy. The Red Raiders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Wagner saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lydia Yost, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run.

Wagner's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-4-1.

Coincidentally, Wagner and Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy will both be playing Parkston the next time they take the field. The Red Raiders will host the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy will host them at 4:30 p.m. on May 6.
