Softball Recap: New Heights Christian Academy Comes Up Short

New Heights Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Pierce City Eagles, falling 13-2. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

New Heights Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Pierce City, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11.

Coming up, New Heights Christian Academy will face off against Golden City at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pierce City, they will take on Diamond at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
