Basketball Recap: Sullivan East Comes Up Short

After flying high against Happy Valley last Friday, Sullivan East came back down to earth. The Sullivan East Patriots came up short against the Daniel Boone Trailblazers on Tuesday, falling 84-59. The Patriots were not able to make up for their loss to the Trailblazers from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Sullivan East has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Daniel Boone, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Sullivan East will venture away from home to challenge Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Daniel Boone, they will face off against T.C. Roberson at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. T.C. Roberson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season.
