While Riley O'Brien delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Grayslake North. O'Brien was unstoppable, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up five earned runs off seven hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, O'Brien and Grayslake North will take on Lake Zurich at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sadly, O'Brien's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Knights' five-game streak of wins on the road.
