Recap: Tribe W Warriors vs. Cornerstone Christian Academy
This season hasn't been kind to the Tribe W Warriors, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 52-22 loss at the hands of Cornerstone Christian Academy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tribe W in their matchups with the : they've now lost eight in a row.
Cornerstone Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reagan Gardner led the charge by scoring 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cali Engram, who scored 12 points.
Tribe W's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tribe W's road trip will continue as they head out to face the at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st. Cornerstone Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on the Eagles on Tuesday.
