Volleyball Game Preview: East Central Hornets vs. West Harrison Hurricanes + How To Watch

The East Central Hornets will square off against the West Harrison Hurricanes at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

East Central took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Bay with a sharp 3-0 win. The Hornets have beaten the Tigers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, West Harrison beat St. Patrick 3-1 on Tuesday.

West Harrison had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-14, 25-14, 25-13.

West Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 10-16. As for East Central, their win bumped their record up to 17-19.

East Central beat West Harrison 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hurricanes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
