Basketball Recap: Chickasaw Comes Up Short

Chickasaw lost against Clarke County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chickasaw Chieftains fell to the Clarke County Bulldogs 69-65.

Chickasaw has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Clarke County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chickasaw will face off against Bayshore Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarke County, they will host Sumter Central at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
