Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Patriots vs. Luther Prep Phoenix
Heritage Christian was the 3-0 winner over Luther Prep when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Heritage Christian Patriots fell just short of the Luther Prep Phoenix by a score of 2-1 on Friday.
Luther Prep can attribute much of their success to Naomi Bortulin, who had six digs and 16 assists.
Heritage Christian's loss dropped their record down to 29-12. As for Luther Prep, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 26-9.
Heritage Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Brookfield Academy on the 18th. Luther Prep has also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Living Word Lutheran on the 18th.
