Softball Recap: Sabine Pass Comes Up Short

Sabine Pass managed to slip by Big Sandy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Sabine Pass came up short against Big Sandy on Tuesday, falling 17-0. The Sharks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Sabine Pass' loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Big Sandy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Big Sandy beat Sabine Pass by a score of 16-0 later that day.
